Brunei: Gang robber’s sentence reduced, caning remains

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Muhammad Kamarul Kamsul, found guilty for robbery in the Kingdom, has received a reduced prison sentence from the Court of Appeal.

The original sentence of six years’ imprisonment with 12 canings was lowered to five years and six months’ jail, while the 12 canings unchanged.
