Seven dead in road crash in southeast Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Seven local people were killed and one other badly injured in a traffic accident in southeast Cambodia's Tboung Khmum province early Friday (June 14), a local police chief said.

The fatal crash occurred at 4.30am local time on National Road 71C in Tboung Khmum district's Roka Po Pram commune when a speedy cargo truck collided head-on with another truck from the opposite direction, said Major Mao Nary, police chief of Roka Po Pram commune.
