40kg of crystal methamphetamine seized in Yangon


YANGON: Myanmar authorities have seized 40kg of ice or crystal methamphetamine in central Myanmar's Yangon region, the official television channel MRTV, citing police sources, reported on Monday (June 10).

Acting on a tip-off, the country's anti-narcotics police raided a house in Tamwe Township of Yangon Region on June 8 and seized the narcotics, the report said.
