Brunei Supreme Court gives lecture on commercial law


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 9 (Bernama-Xinhua): The Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam has hosted a lecture on commercial law, local daily Borneo Bulletin reported on Sunday.

In the lecture, Judicial Commissioner of the Court of Appeal, Sir Peter Gross, shared his experience and expertise in various aspects of the commercial law, involving his insight into the establishment of the Commercial Court in London and the key principle of English law relevant to international trade, including case management and contact interpretation, said the report.

The event served as a platform for sharing knowledge and ideas while showcasing Brunei's commitment to legal excellence and fostering collaboration in commercial law, according to the report. - Bernama-Xinhua
