Myanmar to hold World Environment Day ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday (June 5)


YANGON (Xinhua): Myanmar will hold the commemoration ceremony of the World Environment Day, which falls on June 5, at the Myanmar International Convention Center 2 in Nay Pyi Taw, the state-run media Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) reported on Sunday, citing the Environmental Conservation Department.

The 2024 World Environment Day focuses on land restoration, desertification and drought resilience, the report said.
