Ministry backs effort to get Indonesian seniors working again


JAKARTA: Indonesia’s Ministry of Social Affairs supports community empowerment efforts for the elderly to get the opportunity to work again.

"Seniors have extraordinary experience, so when you employ elderly people based on their potential, the experience is even better," Acting Director of Social Rehabilitation at the ministry, Pepen Nazaruddin, stated in Jakarta, on Thursday (May 30), reported Antara.
