Two Philippine soldiers shot dead, another four wounded in clash against rebels in Kalinga Province

MANILA (Xinhua): Two soldiers were killed and four others wounded in a clash with rebels in Kalinga province in the northern Philippines, the military has announced.

The military said the troops were under a combat operation on Sunday in a town in the landlocked province, where they clashed with a number of New People's Army (NPA) rebels.
