Indonesian minister conducts final checks on Haj readiness in Saudi


JAKARTA, May 7 (Bernama-Antara): Indonesian Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas departed for Saudi Arabia for final checks on preparations for Haj services ahead of the first arrivals of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims on May 12, 2024, reported Antara.

"I will conduct the checks in Mecca and Medina, as well as to (evaluate) the readiness of facilities in the Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina areas," Qoumas noted as per the statement here on Tuesday.
