BANGKOK: Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin once again made the case for reducing the key policy interest rate, saying it will benefit consumption, exports and tourism.
He was speaking on Thursday (April 11) after the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of Thailand (BOT) voted 5:2 to maintain the policy interest rate at 2.5% on Wednesday.
