Myanmar aims to earn over US$16bil from export in FY2024-25


YANGON: Myanmar has set a target of earning approximately US$16.7 billion from exports in the 2024-25 fiscal year, the official Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Tuesday (April 2).

Additionally, the South-East Asian country aims to achieve an import value of $16.3 billion during the same fiscal year, the media report said.

The GDP growth rate for Myanmar in the 2024-25 fiscal year is estimated to be 3.8 per cent, with around 2.5 per cent expected to come from the agricultural sector, the media report said. - Xinhua
