Timor-Leste president in Laos for state visit


VIENTIANE: Timor-Leste's President Jose Ramos-Horta is on a state visit to Laos Wednesday (Feb 28) at the invitation of Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith.

Ramos-Horta (pic) and his high-ranking delegation arrived in the Lao capital Vientiane on Tuesday for the visit from Feb 27 to March 2, Lao News Agency (KPL) reported.

The visit aims to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between Laos and Timor-Leste, according to the report. - Xinhua
