Laos eyes over 6 million tourists this year


THE REPUBLIC’S Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism is hoping that more than 6 million Lao and foreign tourists will take trips in Laos in 2024.

The ministry sets an ambitious plan for 2024 to attract over 2.2 million domestic and about 4 million international visitors and earn about US$1.3bil (RM6.1bil), Lao News Agency reported yesterday, quoting Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Vansy Kuamua.
