Singapore scandals involving ruling party politicians: A Timeline

SINGAPORE: Singapore’s ruling People’s Action Party was dealt a fresh blow on Thursday when former Transport Minister S. Iswaran was charged for corruption, ending a storied political career.

The case marks the biggest political scandal to hit the city-state that’s long relied on a reputation for clean governance to draw investors. It may also sway some voter support from the PAP when it heads into elections that must be held by November 2025.
