Brunei telco tells customers to be more vigilant after big surge in scams in the country


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei top telco outfit Progresif Sdn Bhd issued a statement to all its users addressing the recent surge in fraudulent activities targeting customers.

The company observed a rise in social engineering scams, particularly through phishing attempts where scammers impersonate Progresif agents, aiming to gain unauthorised access to customers’ Progresif CARE+ accounts.
