Marcos signs laws creating medical schools in 5 state universities


MANILA: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr (pic) has signed new laws establishing a college of medicine in five universities in the Philippines.

The president signed Republic Act Nos. 11970 and 11971, creating the Benguet State University-College of Medicine in La Trinidad, Benguet, and the Southern Luzon State University-College of Medicine in Lucban, Quezon.
