VIENTIANE: A total of 6,182 traffic accidents have occurred so far this year across Laos, killing 833 people and severely injuring 4,032 others, according to a Lao TV report on Wednesday (Dec 27).
The Lao capital Vientiane reported the highest number of road accidents during the period, followed by Champasak and Vientiane provinces.
