High waves sink night ferry to Koh Tao

BANGKOK: HIgh waves on Friday (Dec 22) morning caused a night ferry heading to Koh Tao, a resort island in the Gulf of Thailand, to sink.

All 70 passengers and crews were transported to the shore safely by speedboats.
