Seoul issues warning as extreme cold takes hold of South Korea's capital

SEOUL (The Korea Herald/ANN): The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the weather warning will remain in effect as the temperature dropped to as low as minus 12 deg C on Dec 17.

“The lowest temperature on Saturday was recorded at minus 3.6 deg C and the lowest temperature from Sunday morning was minus 12 deg C, 8.4 deg C lower than the previous day,” said the Seoul Metropolitan Government in a press release.
