Blood supplies in Brunei at critical level, ministry of health makes call for donors

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Ministry of Health highlighted the critical shortage of blood supplies at the national Blood Donation Centres and blood banks nationwide in statement to the local media, adding that blood types A, B and AB are urgently needed.

The Blood Donation Centre will host a number of campaigns which included a collaboration with Network Integrity Assurance Technologies Sdn Bhd (NiAT) at Onecity Shopping Centre on Monday.

On Thursday (December 7), Laneige Brunei will hold a campaign at the Brunei International Airport from 9am to 2pm, and Suri Seri Begawan Hospital will hold the drive at its premises on December 8 from 8-11.30am. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
