Vietnam 2024 budget deficit seen at 3.6% of GDP - finance ministry


HANOI (Vietnam News/Reuters): Vietnam's parliament on Friday approved the country's projected budget deficit of 399 trillion dong (US$16.41 billion) for next year, or 3.6% of the gross domestic product, the Ministry of Finance said.

The country's budget spending for next year will be 2,119 trillion dong, the ministry said in a statement.
