Cambodia bans smartphones in classrooms; move to ensure students be more focus in studies

PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): Cambodia on Tuesday banned students from using smartphones in classrooms, saying that the move is to motivate students to focus on their studies.

"The use of smartphones or electronic devices, that do not serve as a learning activity, is prohibited in classrooms or during school hours," Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Hang Chuon Naron said in a directive.
