N. Korean sports broadcast labels S. Korea ‘puppets’ during Hangzhou Asian Games

SEOUL (The Korea Herald/Asia News Network): North Korea’s state media outlets, including Rodong Sinmun and Korean Central Television, dropped the term “Nam Joseon”, or South Joseon, when referring to South Korea in a recent sports broadcast.

Instead, they used the term “goeroe”, which means “puppets”, to indicate South Korea.
