Philippine consulate warns against fraud, illegal recruitment in Italy


MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): Filipinos are being warned against illegal recruitment to Italy after the Italian government announced that it would be admitting 452,000 foreign nationals for seasonal and nonseasonal employment in the next three years.

In an advisory issued Friday (Oct 6), Consul General in Milan Elmer Cato (pic) urged Filipinos to be wary, noting that unscrupulous individuals may take advantage of the Italian government’s announcement.
