Myanmar sees more than US$835 million trade deficit in nearly six months


YANGON (Eleven Media Group/ANN): Myanmar's foreign trade sector had generated more than US$835 million in trade deficits over the past five months of the current fiscal year 2023-2024, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Commerce.

From April 1 to September 22, 2023, the export value amounted to $7300.594 million, and $8136.419 million in the import value with a total trade value of $ 15437.013 million, of which imports amounted to more than $ 835 million, and trade deficits amounted to $835.825 million.
