Teen daycare worker in Brunei pleads guilty to causing toddler severe injuries; facing huge fine and 10 years jail sentence

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): An 18-year-old daycare worker is facing hefty fine and lengthy jail terms for injuring a one-year-old girl in her care.

The defendant, a local woman with her identity withheld for the child’s protection, pleaded guilty to the charge yesterday. The charge states that she exposed the victim in a manner likely to cause physical injury.
