First hajj flight safely returns to Brunei with 252 pilgrims

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Family members and friends eagerly welcomed home the first returning hajj flight carrying 252 pilgrims who arrived at the Brunei International Airport at 8.51am on Wednesday (July 5).

Also welcoming the pilgrims were Minister of Religious Affairs Ustaz Awang Badaruddin Awang Othman, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II as chairman of board of directors of Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) Major General (Rtd) Awang Halbi Mohd Yussof, and Minister of Health Mohammad Isham Jaafar.
