Phivolcs records largest pyroclastic flow in Mayon since June 8

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Friday (June 16) said it recorded the largest pyroclastic density current (PDC) registered since June 8 on Thursday (June 15) night.

According to Phivolcs in its latest advisory, the PDC occurred at 11:18pm on Thursday and is the largest seen since June 8.
