Fire engulfs house in Kampong Bendahara Lama

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): A fire broke out at a residential house in Kampong Bendahara Lama, in the capital on Wednesday (June 14) morning.

The Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD) received a distress call at 9:17am and immediately deployed 18 fire and rescue personnel from the Pelancaran and Sungai Kebun Fire Station to the scene.

Efforts were swiftly made to contain and extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring properties.

The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
