BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 9 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): A Malaysian man was sentenced to 18 months’ jail with three whippings by the Magistrate’s Court yesterday after he pleaded guilty to immigration charges.
Samsul bin Jenin, 34, had been barred from entering Brunei for a number of offences earlier when he was arrested by immigration enforcement officers on June 5 at a house in Kampong Peramu.
