All national servicemen to get more monthly allowance from July 1

SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): All national servicemen will see their monthly allowance increase by S$125 to $200 from July 1, said the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday (May 29).

The increase will depend on their rank and vocation, and applies to servicemen in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
