BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): A tropical depression in the Bay of Bengal, which is moving towards Thailand, is expected to bring heavy rain to the northern, central, eastern, and southern regions from May 11-16, the Meteorological Department warned on Thursday (May 11).
A tropical depression forms when a low-pressure area is accompanied by thunderstorms that produce a circular wind flow with maximum sustained winds below 63 km/hr.
