China urges Myanmar to crack down on telecom fraud


BAGAN, Myanmar (Xinhua): Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang (pic) has urged the Myanmar government to crack down on telecom fraud.

During his visit to the country starting Tuesday (May 2), Qin pointed out that Myanmar's border areas have long been home to telecom fraud gangs, which have seriously infringed on the interests of Chinese citizens and are abhorred by the Chinese public.
