International community must take urgent action to end Myanmar crisis, says MAGM

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama): The international community must take urgent action to put an end to the crisis in Myanmar and hold the military regime accountable for its actions, said Malaysian Advisory Group on Myanmar (MAGM) Chairman Tan Sri Dr Syed Hamid Albar.

In condemning the military airstrike Tuesday on a village in Kanbula Township of Sagaing Region, which is reported to have killed up to 100 people including women and children, he said the indiscriminate use of force against civilians is a violation of international law and human rights.
