HANOI (Xinhua): Vietnam's exports of wood and wood products in the first quarter this year fell 28.3 per cent to US$2.9 billion from a year ago due to falling global demand, local media reported on Tuesday (April 4).

The South-East Asian country's export earnings from wood and wood products started showing signs of rebound in March, jumping 50 per cent from February to 1.2 billion dollars but still 23 per cent lower than a year ago.
