BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, April 2 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): A local Brunei man was sentenced to three years’ jail by the magistrate court after a trial on charges involving aggression.
Senior Magistrate Hajah Ervy Sufitriana Abdul Rahman found Prosecutor Ahmad Firdaus Mohammad’s case against Hamzah Pehin Orang Kaya Kesuma Dato Paduka Haji Ali proven beyond reasonable doubt for causing affray in disturbance to public peace; possessing a katana in a public place with intent to use it offensively; and exhibiting threatening behaviour by hitting a person with a metal rod and brandishing a katana in breach of public peace.
