China envoy renews call to revive stalled CAI trade pact with EU

China’s envoy to the European Union has reiterated Beijing’s commitment to the stalled Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI), which it sees as an important part of its relations with Europe.

In an interview published by Diplomatic World magazine on Tuesday, Fu Cong said the deal offers “the most comprehensive market access to date”.
