Philippine NBI said to have captured major player in slaying of governor Degamo

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested one of the major players in the killing of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo,(pic) making the case 99 per cent solved, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said Friday (March 31).

Remulla said, on his own reading of the situation, he would consider the recently arrested suspect as one of the masterminds, and they have been tracking him for the last three weeks.
