Housing Dept warns of fake applicants list


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): The recent viral list of applications for the National Housing Scheme (RPN) is fake, said the Housing Development Department on Tuesday (March 28).

Housing Development Department said in a statement that the name list was previously uploaded on the website of the department to update the application data for the RPN in April 2017.

However, the viral information on the allocation of housing for applicants in areas of RPN Lugu and RPN Rimba national housing scheme is untrue.

The department advised the public to not easily believe and spread any unverified information through the Internet or social media without confirming its validity.
