Paetongtarn backs Thaksin’s pledge to serve prison time

Paetongtarn Shinawatra (pic) of the Pheu Thai Party said that she respected the decision by her father, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, to return home and serve his prison term.

Thaksin said in an interview in Tokyo on Friday that he was ready to serve his jail time, provided he is allowed to spend the rest of his time with his family.
