Bandar Seri Begawan, March 21 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The sighting of the new moon of Ramadhan for 1444 Hijrah will be held tomorrow on the 29th of Sya’aban, 1444 Hijrah, corresponding to March 22 (Wednesday evening).
Syar’ie judges and officers from Syariah Courts, State Judiciary Department at the Prime Minister’s Office as well as officers from the Survey Department at the Ministry of Development will be at DST Tower, Tanjung Batu in Kampong Sabun, Bukit Agok in Jerudong, Bukit Ambog in Tutong District and Bukit Lumut in Belait District.
The announcement for the first day of Ramadhan will be made via Radio Television Brunei once the result of the sighting is known. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
