Vehicle overturns near Thonze township injuring 20


YANGON (Eleven Media Group/Asia News Network): A vehicle heading to the umbrella-hoisting ceremony of a pagoda over-turned near Thonze Township injuring 20 people including two monks on Saturday morning (March 11).

“The vehicle was leaving Pyae and it over-turned near Thonze Township around 7am. Among the six people with serious injuries were two monks. They have been sent to Yangon General Hospital,” said a member of Myittalin philanthropic association.
