HANOI, Jan 27 (Vietnam News/ANN): The tourism sector served more than nine million domestic tourists in the week-long Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, up about 47.5% over the previous Tet, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).
During the holiday from January 20-26, total revenue from tourism activities was estimated at 17.5 trillion VND (US$745.79 million), down 30% year on year, reported the VNAT.
