No more Covid-19 cases under critical care in Brunei, says Ministry of Health

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jan 21 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei on Friday night (Jan 20) went back to zero covid-19 cases in Category 4 requiring oxygen assistance while under close supervision and Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit.

Meanwhile, a total of 219 covid cases made complete recovery bringing the national tally to 272,486.

Ministry of Health announced in the daily report on Friday.

The overall population that has received the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine remained at 11.7 per cent, while the coverage rate of the populace with three shots of the Covid-19 vaccine stands at 79 per cent.

Meanwhile 62.6 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose. A total of 87.6 per cent of children aged five to 11 in the country have been inoculated with two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
