Cambodia on guard - Less rainfall expected in 2023, use water sparingly, ministry advises people

PHNOM PENH, Dec 25 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The Cambodian Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has called on people to use water sparingly – especially in remote rural areas far from water sources – citing diminished rainfall next year compared to 2022.

Temperatures may rise to 39 degrees Celsius before the expected mid-May start of the rainy season.
