Brunei man fined RM195,000 for keeping undeclared cigarettes in his vehicle

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec 11 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Magistrate’s Court of Brunei has ordered a local man to settle a BND60,000 (RM195,000) fine after he pleaded guilty to possessing undeclared cigarettes in his vehicle.

Badie Uzzaman Mahat, 34, would have to serve 16 months’ jail in default of paying the fine.
