Brunei further eases Covid measures


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): The operating hours at land control posts will be extended to 10pm starting Dec 1.

This was said by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Halbi Mohd Yussof during the weekly Covid-19 press conference on Monday (Nov 28).

These include land control posts at Sungai Tujoh, Labu, Ujong Jalan and Kuala Lurah, while the sea control posts at Serasa Ferry Terminal, Serasa Vehicle Ferry, Muara Port and Kuala Belait Wharf will continue to operate from 6am to 8pm.

The minister said starting Dec 1, food distribution for Covid-19 cases will be discontinued.

However, the Government of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah through the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will continue to assist the needy.
