Brunei records one new Covid-19 death and confirms two patients are now in serious conditions

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Brunei recorded one Covid-19 fatality in the last 24 hours, while two cases in Category 5 are receiving treatment at the intensive care unit and one case in Category 4 under close monitoring.

The latest Covid-19 situation was announced by the Ministry of Health in its daily report on Saturday night (Nov 26).

Some 697 recoveries were recorded, bringing the national tally of recoveries to 251,196.

The coverage rate for those with four doses of the Covid-19 vaccine stands at 11.2 per cent, while 78.8 per cent of the population have been administered three shots.

Meanwhile, 86.7 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received two doses of the vaccine, while 62 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
