Sultanate records one Covid death


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday (Nov 23) recorded a Covid-19 fatality, the Ministry of Health announced in its daily press report.

Two Category 5 cases are receiving treatment at the intensive care unit. Meanwhile, 653 recoveries were recorded, bringing the national tally to 249,171.

The overall population that has received the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine is at 11.2 per cent, while the coverage rate of the populace with three shots of Covid-19 vaccine remained at 78.8 per cent.

The inoculation rate of children aged five to 11 with two doses of the vaccine is at 86.6 per cent, while 62 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
