62% of Brunei adolescents given third Covid-19 vaccine dose


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Sixty-two per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 in the Sultanate have been administered the third dose of Covid-19 vaccine, while the inoculation rate for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the vaccine remained at 86.6 per cent.

One case is in Category 4, receiving respiratory assistance and under close observation, while two Category 5 cases are being treated at the intensive care unit, the Ministry of Health announced in its daily report yesterday.

Additionally, 645 recoveries were recorded, bringing the national tally of recovered cases to 247,230.
