JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/Asia News Network): The Jakarta administration is working to improve park-and-ride facilities throughout the city to encourage more people to use public transportation.

A park-and-ride facility is a parking area located near a public transportation stop, such as a Commuter Line (KRL) or MRT station, to cater to commuters who wish to use public transportation for part of their journey.
